A New Year for Sovereign Europe: Bold Moves and Fresh Perspectives
A bold vision for 2025: Expanding Sovereign Europe's voice in the fight for national sovereignty and traditional European values.
A new year, new possibilities—or so they say.
As I sit down to write this, I’m reminded of the old saying that the start of a new year is like a blank canvas. But for Sovereign Europe, my English-language Substack launched in November, the canvas is already splattered with a mix of colors. In just under two months, I’ve published 14 articles. Not bad, but I’ll be honest: I’m still finding my form.
Looking Back: Lessons from the Start
The journey so far has been both rewarding and revealing. Sovereign Europe was born from a need I saw in the discourse around European politics—an alternative to the pro-centralization narratives that dominate mainstream coverage. But while I’m proud of the work I’ve done, I recognize a gap: the publication has leaned heavily on technical and policy-focused content. That’s no surprise; as someone who enjoys digging into the mechanics of politics, I naturally gravitate toward the details.
Yet, Sovereign Europe was never meant to be just another “EU watch” outlet. It’s meant to be a platform that combines depth with personality, a voice that speaks not just to policymakers but to everyone passionate about national sovereignty and European traditions.
What’s Next: Expanding the Vision for 2025
In 2025, Sovereign Europe will evolve. Expect the same rigorous analysis of EU policies, but also expect more diversity in content. I want to bring you behind the curtain of nationalist movements, share lessons from my 25 years in the trenches of the Swedish nationalist movement, and offer perspectives that challenge the orthodoxies—not just of the EU establishment but also within nationalist circles.
If there’s one thing age and experience have taught me, it’s this: caring less about what others think is liberating. I’ve spent decades learning from successes and failures, leading movements, building networks across Europe, and occasionally falling flat on my face. These lessons—sometimes hard-won—are worth sharing, not as prescriptions but as tools for thought.
In my early years, I sometimes echoed what I thought others wanted to hear. Now, at 42, I speak my mind unapologetically. I’m not claiming to be always right (I’ve changed my stance on plenty of issues), but I won’t shy away from challenging political correctness—whether it comes from Brussels or closer to home.
The Big Picture: A Transformative Year Ahead
The stage is set for a pivotal year in European and global politics. The second Trump administration will undoubtedly reshape international dynamics. Elections in Germany and Romania could redefine their nations’ political trajectories. And we may see the long-awaited end to the war in Ukraine—though its aftershocks will linger across the continent.
These are not just headlines; they are inflection points. Sovereign Europe will be here to provide clarity amidst the noise, offering sharp analysis, insightful interviews, and thought-provoking commentary. In fact, I’m already working on a fascinating interview about the German elections, so stay tuned.
What You Can Expect: Free and Premium Content
Most of what I publish will remain free because I believe these conversations need to be as accessible as possible. However, I’ll also be introducing premium content in the coming months. Think in-depth interviews, exclusive analyses, and behind-the-scenes insights into the nationalist movements shaping Europe’s future. If you’re already a subscriber, you’ll be the first to know when it goes live.
For now, the best thing you can do is subscribe and share. Sovereign Europe isn’t just my platform—it’s a community of thinkers, readers, and doers who believe in the sovereignty of nations and the preservation of European traditions.
One Final Thought
The new year may indeed bring new possibilities, but it won’t hand them to us on a silver platter. It’s up to us to seize them. Whether it’s through challenging entrenched narratives or building coalitions for change, Sovereign Europe is here to make the case for a Europe of strong, independent nations.
Let’s make 2025 a year to remember.
